Meet Paige Hutchinson, the Work-Based Learning Coordinator at Pearl River Community College (PRCC). Paige has been with the Workforce Education team since July of 2023 where she works with the WIOA Internship Program and Mississippi Apprenticeship Program to build partnerships that can benefit students by providing real-world experiences, enhancing their employability, and addressing industry needs.
Prior to PRCC, Paige spent nineteen years in K-12 education, with a focus on Career and Technical Education and Special Education. Her background includes serving as a Work-Based Learning Coordinator, Student Services Coordinator, and a classroom special education teacher, impacting students’ academic and professional journeys.
Paige is excited to be at PRCC in Workforce Education and to be a partner with the Mississippi Apprenticeship Program. Paige said, “Being in my role here at PRCC allows me to foster meaningful connections between education and industry that will undoubtedly shape the success stories of individuals. I’ve learned a great deal about apprenticeship programs and the benefits to the individual and industry since starting in my role and I am excited to play a small part in helping prepare the next generation for rewarding careers.”
