My apprenticeship began on June 10th, 2024, and it has been one of the best decisions of
my life. Hago Automotive has an incredible program. When I complete this program, I will have
two degrees and four years of maintenance experience. My apprenticeship has helped me to
achieve several personal milestones, as well as develop my career in ways I could never have
imagined.
My apprenticeship through hago Automotive has given me the ability to fulfill several
personal goals. I can now repair my home and vehicle myself, a personal milestone. This May, I
will complete my first degree, a massive personal goal of mine was to graduate from college. I
believe my apprenticeship has made me more competent in almost every way.
I started my apprenticeship less than a month out of high school; it was my second-ever
job. I am currently halfway done with my apprenticeship. My career has advanced more in the
last two years than I could have ever done on my own. I have skills and knowledge of things that
the high school version of myself would have called science fiction.
I believe everyone should go through some kind of apprentice program. The variety of
knowledge gained from an apprenticeship, even if you decide not to pursue that career path, is
invaluable. The career path afforded by an apprenticeship gives a person the most control possible for their future.
Through an apprenticeship, not only are you learning every day, but you
are also making connections with everyone you talk to.
An apprenticeship has been the best decision of my life; it has given me the freedom and
resources to achieve my own goals and further my career as well. I would recommend everyone
to go through an apprenticeship. By the time I am 22, I will have two degrees and four years of
experience; nothing else even compares to this opportunity.
