Joining the apprenticeship has been one of the best opportunities for me. It gave me the
chance to learn real skills on the job and gain knowledge that will help me in my career. I’ve
grown a lot since starting and not only in my work abilities but also in my confidence.
Before the program I was looking for a way to build a future for myself and gain experience in
a real work environment. Since joining the program, I’ve learned so much through hands-on
training, guidance from others, and everyday experience that you can’t always get in a
classroom. The best part is the combination of time in the classroom and time in the workplace.
I am able to take what I learn in class, and apply it to my job at Hago.
What makes the apprenticeship different is that you’re not just learning. You’re actually doing
the work and gaining experience at the same time. Being able to earn while I learn has made a
big difference for me. I am able to do things that I see others who are taking a traditional college
route not able to do.
I would definitely encourage others to look into apprenticeship programs because they can
open doors and create real opportunities for your future. I am thankful for my time spent at Hago
and the opportunities that I am unlocking through this process.
