What a week for us at Pearl River Community College (PRCC)!

We celebrated National Apprenticeship Week (NAW), November 11-17, with a series of activities to promote the merits of work-based learning opportunities to employers, employees, students, and the community as a whole.  Through videos, a radio show, employer visits, banners, and job fairs, we were able to share the tremendous opportunities available through apprenticeship programs in Mississippi.

You can get a comprehensive look at all of our activities at the link below. The link includes photos and social media posts from NAW.

You can also listen to our interview on SuperTalk Mississippi to learn more about our work with businesses and industries in the Pearl River Community.

Thank you to the Department of Labor and the Mississippi Community College Board MAP program for allowing us to be a part of the future of the state’s workforce through apprenticeship!
